That control is worth $100, and if you've ever wished you could adjust the lights, you'll use it constantly.
Dimming is built into the kit, so there is nothing extra to buy or install. The light comes on at full brightness. Flip the wall switch off and back on within about a second, and it steps down to 60%. Do it again for 30%, and once more to return to full. That is the whole system. Your existing on/off switch is the only control.
Because the dimming is in the tubes, do not put this kit on a dimmer switch. A dimmer will not step the levels and can cause flicker. A plain on/off switch is all it needs. Light color stays 6500K daylight white at every level.
Dimmable vs. Non-Dimmable, Which One?
If your space serves one purpose at one light level, the non-dimmable kit is the clean, reliable choice.
